    JURORS SUMMONED FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 2, 2026


    Monday 4:15 p.m. update:


    Jurors with call numbers 217 through 325 are required to report to the jury assembly room by 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.  All other jurors, please go about your normal daily activities and check the website at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday for further instructions.


    Jurors already assigned to a trial, please continue to follow the reporting instructions that were provided by the courtroom.  


    Vending machines are available for coffee, soda and snacks.  Jurors may also bring an empty water bottle or thermos to fill with water at our bottle filler.  Outside food is permitted (no glass containers or metal utensils).

🅿️ Parking Information

  • Free juror parking:
    📍 120 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue (1 block south of Washington St., west side of MLK Ave.)
  • 🚫 Parking elsewhere (including meters) is at your own expense.
  • ♿ For handicapped parking, call 847-377-4600.

👉 From the juror parking lot:
Walk 1 block north on MLK Jr. Ave → Turn right on Washington St. → Closest courthouse entrance will be on your right.

🌐 Technology & Comfort

  • Free Wi-Fi in the Jury Assembly Room.
  • Laptops, tablets, and cell phones allowed.
  • 🚫 Items not permitted: outside beverages, cameras, glass containers, or metal utensils.

🏛️ Where to Report

  • All jurors must report to the Jury Assembly Room - 301 Washington St. - 2nd Floor Criminal Court Tower.

Directions:

  • Washington Street entrance → Up escalator or elevator → 2nd floor.
  • North courthouse entrance → Left across rotunda → Up stairs or elevator → Walkway across to Court Tower → Jury Assembly Room (southeast corner near elevators).

📞 Jury Information Line

  • Jurors not in trial must check the Jury Information Line daily.
  • Call: 847-249-5879 or check the website for reporting instructions.
  • Times to check: 11:15 a.m. and after 4:15 p.m. until you are released.

🔒 Security Requirements

Some items not allowed in the courthouse:

  • Outside Beverages
  • Cameras
  • Glass containers
  • Metal utensils
  • Knitting needles
  • Any weapons

 Food & Beverages

  • No outside beverages are allowed in the courthouse.
  • ✅ Vending machines are available for coffee, soda, and snacks.
  • ✅ Outside food is permitted if it passes security (no glass containers or metal utensils).  There are some local restaurants available to purchase lunch.  It is advised to bring a lunch or snacks for jurors who choose to remain in the building during lunch breaks.
  • 💧 You may bring an empty water bottle or thermos to refill at the Jury Assembly Room water fountain/bottle filler.
