About the Programs

The Judicial Services Programs of the College of Lake County offers court-approved courses of instruction for those individuals ordered or recommended to attend a course in the Driver Safety Program, Live Victim Impact Panel, or Family Parenting Program.

The Community Development Department recently changed its name to Judicial Services Programs. They administer the:

College Information

The Driver Safety Program and Family Parenting Programs of the College of Lake County are located at 111 N Genesee Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Office hours are - Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., and Friday 8:30 am to 4:15 pm. The office is closed between 12 pm and 12:45 pm for lunch. The office is closed for all federal holidays. The phone number for information and registration is 847-543-2185.

Phone registrations for all programs can be taken with a credit card number. Registrations with a credit card number can be faxed to 847-543-3185. Please make sure all information, including home, or daytime phone number, on the registration form is complete. Court Services & Probation Support Volunteer Program

To explore new volunteer opportunities and enhance those already existing, Jana Carpenter, Volunteer Coordinator of the Court Services and Probation Support Program, has begun a new recruitment campaign through the College of Lake County. College of Lake County assigns volunteers to work within various Court departments and provide support to Lake County Probation, including Adult and Juvenile. The Court Services and Probation Support Volunteer Program is seeking individuals who are looking to make an impact with their time, skills, and experience.
