Chief Judge Jorge L. Ortiz invites all Lake County students to participate in activities planned for Law Day 2017. This year’s theme is: The Fourteenth Amendment, "Transforming AMERICAN DEMOCRACY, Equal Protection Under the Law." Lake County high school students will attend a morning of law-related sessions presented by the Judges of Lake County, the State’s Attorney’s Office, the Sheriff’s Department, and the Coroner’s Office. An awards ceremony will honor all grammar school winners in our coloring, poster and essay contests.
